Overview:

Laser Beam Expander is used to compress the divergence angle of the beam by expanding the diameter of the laser beam, so it is widely used in laser ranging system or laser focus system. The beam through a laser beam expander features a smaller divergence angle, which can achieve the ideal effect in long distance measurement, and also can get smaller and higher energy beam spot in the laser processing applications.

Star Optic offers Beam Expanders can expand or reduce the diameter of a collimated beam by a factor of 2, 3, 5, 10, or 20. These Galilean beam expanders use a low-aberration, air-spaced design optimized to provide a wavefront error of less than λ/4 (i.e., diffraction-limited performance) and minimize the impact on the M2 value of the expanded beam. An expanded beam can be focused to a narrow diffraction-limited waist, which can be necessary for use with optics or instruments that have narrow input apertures

These fixed-magnification laser beam expanders are offered with optics that have either narrowband or wideband AR coatings.

You have full design freedom, and we are able to work with complex designs to get you exactly what you need including optical design, mechanical design and optical coating design.

3, Production:

Have the ability to transfer designs into production from prototyping to serial production. Production process like grinding, polishing, centering, coating and measuring process are carried out by both manual and CNC machines.

4, Inspection:

The measurement process during and after production are carried out with precision metrology equipment, high sensitive interferometers and spectrometers. Measurement reports either e-version or paper-version will be provided upon shipment.

5, Packing:

Safe and dust-free packing are chosen to ensure you receive your products safe and sound and can use directly in your production lines.

6, Measuring Service:
